A day at the GOMA!

It was Mother's day. We decided to visit the GOMA (Modern Art Gallery of Brisbane) to see the new Ron Mueck exhibition but the queue stretched out the door, no way! Instead, we saw the artwork of 40 local high school very promising students!

Then, I used my mobile to take these pictures of Zachary while posing next to giant figures!

It was a pleasant, sunny and happy mother's day!

Life Beyond Moroccan High Atlas Mountains

We could drive for hours and see only sand and rocks. Then, time to time, we see an isolated tree and next to it this box-shaped house with a large satellite dish perched on top of it. Indeed, someone is living inside that box, and indeed, he or she is in contact with the rest of the world. He or she watches daily the world news and while the world is ignoring him/her!

I always loved coming around here. Life is so simple and has a completely another meaning for the people of here. Freedom and peace are the first things which come to our mind when we see it at first sight. Magical and inspirational and of course a great lesson about the meaning of life!
